I studied political science and rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley and am currently working on my master’s dissertation in international criminal justice at the University of Portsmouth. I have been working unpaid in journalism for seven years covering international and national politics in the US and social issues around the world. As a human rights journalist, I am trying to multiple love in all aspects of life.

This blog is dedicated to God and His Son, Jesus Christ, to show His love through my personal experiences and interactions with others on a daily basis in trending news analysis, cultural explanations, and Jesus and God's teachings on love. It is designed to challenge Western values according to these teachings because God's love is the most valuable thing to me.

I believe in Matthew 22:35-40, “Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, ‘Master, which is the great commandment in the law?’ Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’”

As such, God's love is the most valuable thing to me. I think that God's only desire for our lives is to love others to glorify Him so that we will obey His commandments of love.

These commandments also give me life. I rely on people to give me life. I am a quadriplegic dependent on a ventilator to breathe and humans to help me with everything. Without love, nobody would help me so that I could live. The love God poured into people's hearts compels them to take care of me.

My whole life revolves around living to love people. I enjoy understanding people to encourage the most love in all situations. I spend a lot of time meditating on abstract words like love, life, humanity, grace, kindness, justice, righteousness, free will, individuality, selfishness, selflessness, humility, etc. So, I love to analyze how art expresses these words through the human experience especially in the unspoken sounds of music and the syntax and diction of language. I want to use my passion for love to apply it to my interests in politics, economics, law, and social issues to change the world.
