Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God, Not Thyself
My family and caregivers often tell me that they cannot take care of me because they want to do things like hang out with other friends because they have their own lives. I always tell them God will give them time if they do His will to help people (Luke 12:16-21). Finally, the verse of the came from Luke 12. It says that God takes care of all of our needs if we do His will (Luke 12:22, 30-31).
In verse 22, Jesus says do not worry about your needs because God knows what we need as humans (Luke 12:30), and He will give us all that we need if do his will (Luke 12:31). God’s will is to help others (Acts 20:35).
The combination of Luke 12: 31 and Acts 20:35 means that God gives everything we need if we help others. Jesus lists food and clothes, but these necessities also include time (Ecclesiastes 3:1) and so much more. God wants to bless us (Psalm 40:5).
